Confession of Faith

God

I confess, according to Holy Scripture, the mystery and majesty of the Holy Trinity: the one true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4) is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons yet of one divine essence, equal in power, eternity, and glory, each possessing the fullness of the divine nature (Colossians 2:9; Matthew 28:19).

The Father

I confess the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 8:6, that for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist. The Father is the source of all things (James 1:17), the giver of life and every good gift. From Him the Son is eternally begotten and the Spirit eternally proceeds, as confessed in the creeds: God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God. The Father, in love, sends the Son for our redemption and gives the Spirit for our renewal, and in Him we live and move and have our being.

Faith in Jesus Christ

I confess that reconciliation with God comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who by His life, death, and resurrection has secured forgiveness of sins and peace with God (2 Corinthians 5:18–19; Romans 1:5). He is the eternal Word of God, who was with God and is God (John 1:1–3). He is not created but eternally begotten of the Father, true God from true God. In Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily (Colossians 2:9), for it pleased the Father that all the fullness should dwell in Him. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, by whom and for whom all things were created (Colossians 1:15–17).

This faith is not a human effort to keep God’s law after the example of Christ, but trust in the Gospel itself, the good news that Christ has fully accomplished our justification and offers it freely by grace (Acts 10:43; John 3:16–18, 36). Faith justifies not as a work of man, but because it receives the grace of God in Christ and lays hold of His merit alone (Romans 4:16).

The Holy Spirit

I confess that the Holy Spirit indwells me and every believer, working regeneration, sanctification, and perseverance. His ministry is to glorify Christ and to empower the believer for godly living and service (Romans 8:2–6; John 14:26). Through the proclamation of the Gospel, the Spirit renews hearts, convicts of sin, and leads us to confess Jesus Christ as Lord. By His work we are brought to repentance, granted faith, justified through Christ’s merit alone, and given the free gift of eternal life (John 14:15–17).

The Bible

I confess that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17). The prophets and apostles wrote not by human will but as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). Therefore, the Scriptures are true in all they affirm, without error or contradiction, even in matters of history and creation (John 10:35). They are the final authority for faith and life, given by God to His church as the foundation of faith and the supreme rule of doctrine and practice (Ephesians 2:20).

Closing Confession

I confess all of this to the glory of God alone, acknowledging that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed in Scripture alone. To Him be all honor, praise, and worship forever.

Bio

Michael Pagano – True Christian Ministry

Michael Pagano, the voice behind True Christian Ministry, has a testimony marked by both profound struggle and transformative grace. Raised in a devout Christian home, he was baptized as an infant and immersed in Scripture, but as he grew, sin and rebellion took hold. In his teenage years, Michael became involved in gangs and engaged in a lifestyle that led to the loss of countless friends to jail and violence.

In an attempt to escape the chaos of his life, Michael joined the Marine Corps, believing discipline and distance would solve his struggles. Yet even in the military, the emptiness persisted. Facing addiction, broken relationships, and personal failures, he reached a point of complete surrender, crying out to God in desperation, giving his life fully to Him. Around this time, he also endured the devastating murder of his brother and best friend, a loss that further confronted him with the fragility of life and the need for true hope. In that moment of brokenness, God’s grace met him, setting him on a path of restoration, healing, and true faith.

Since his salvation, Michael has dedicated his life to guiding others through the truths of Scripture, emphasizing both personal discipleship and the assurance of God’s love. He is passionate about helping believers, especially young Christians, navigate doubt, fear, and the challenges of modern life while building a resilient and authentic faith. His ministry reflects the belief that God can use every part of a person’s journey, even the darkest seasons, to shape and equip them for His purposes.

Through True Christian Ministry, his social media platforms, and his podcast, Michael shares his story openly, combining biblical teaching with pastoral encouragement. His mission is to shepherd believers toward a full assurance of salvation, a deeper understanding of God’s Word, and a practical, lived-out faith that confronts life’s struggles with hope, courage, and reliance on Christ.
